For schools

A curriculum your
school can run.

CHIP is a project-based curriculum, a platform and a room. For schools that want kids to build, present and finish. The platform runs in production at our in-person studio.

What a school gets

Three parts,
one partner.

Licence

The platform and the curriculum

Kid, parent and Chipper views, the missions and the nine-step path, for your students.

CHIP room

A room set up for building

Tables of four, up to 16 kids, desktop computers with headphones, 75-minute build turns and a Chipper.

CHIP Certification

For your teachers

A yearly certification with a practical exam, in Spanish and English, so your own teachers can lead the room.

Admission for kids and mentors.Every kid and every Chipper goes through an admission process with our psychology team before being accepted to study or work with CHIP.
One curriculum

A three-year
progression.

Nine steps over three years, from a first work shown to the family to mentoring and launching something of your own. Each level closes with a big project.

Observed competencies

Progress you can describe.

Teachers note what they see against eight competencies: judgment, direction, finishing, communicating, teamwork and teaching, deciding with data, digital citizenship and scientific thinking.

Judgment

Deciding what is worth keeping.

Direction

Explaining clearly what you want.

Finishing

Taking an idea to the end.

Communicating

Presenting and defending your work.

Teamwork and teaching

Helping others and being helped.

Deciding with data

Using real numbers to choose.

Digital citizenship

Ethics when using technology.

Scientific thinking

Guess, test, learn.

Evidence

Evidence of finished work.

Finished works

Every finished work, with a date and a teacher's note.

The path

Steps and patches earned, each with its condition.

Reports

A weekly written report in plain language, for families and for your records.

CHIP does not replace your subjects or issue grades. It adds a way to see what kids can build and how they work with others.

What is still being built with partner schools.Teacher tools, multi-school accounts and the fit with your own curriculum are in design. We would rather build them with you than promise them here.
